Wednesday night St. John’s College (DC) hosted Takoma Academy (Md.) and cruised to a 74-32 victory.

The standout players were 2022 guard Shane Lancaster and 2020 forward Mikey Square, who both finished with 11 points in the blowout win for the Cadets, who improved to 7-0.

It was a total team effort on the offensive end for St. John's, with balanced scoring from each player that played. The Cadets played excellent defense all over the floor, speeding up Takoma with full court pressure while also eliminating any second chance opportunities for the Tigers.

2020 forward David Nwankwo had 8 points to lead Takoma Academy.
