This year will feature the first non-Catholic School Team.

The field is officially set for the 60th Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament, and this year's event - scheduled for March 12-14 at Frostburg State University (Md.) - will feature a new look.

For the first time ever, the ACIT will welcome a non-Catholic School program, as St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Va.) makes its inaugural appearance. The Saints are coming off their second consecutive Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) championship.

Cathedral School from Ontario, Canada will be returning for the first time in a decade,  and Malvern Prep (Pa.), will give the ACIT a Philadelphia-area team for the first time in 13 years.

SS&SA, Cathedral School and Malvern Prep will join Washington Catholic Athletic Conference representatives DeMatha (Md.) - the reigning Alhambra Champions - Paul VI (Va.) and Gonzaga (DC), along with Baltimore Catholic League Champion St. Frances (Md.) and event host Bishop Walsh (Md.).
