Gonzaga's Terrance Williams headlines our group of DC's best.

With the 2019-20 high school basketball season in the rearview mirror, we are proud to announce our All-District selections for Washington, D.C.

Our staff would like to thank the players, coaches and fans who made this past season – our tenth year of high school coverage – a success, and we look forward to many more. In addition to this All-DC team (which features only players from schools located in the District), we'll be rolling out All-Maryland and All-Northern Virginia teams,  culminating in our overall All-DMVelite squad.

And now, here’s our selection of the District’s best of the best – the 2020 DMVelite All-DC Team:

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: TERRENCE WILLIAMS, GONZAGA 2020 WING
The University of Michigan-bound Williams averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds per game while leading the Purple Eagles to the DC State Athletic Association Class A Championship, tallying 19 and 14 in the title game against Wilson. This season capped a tremendous Gonzaga career for Williams, who finished with 2,158 points, good for second place in school history.

COACH OF THE YEAR: ROB NICKENS, THEODORE ROOSEVELT
Nickens overhauled his system this year, utilizing an uptempo attack focused on quick offensive possessions, heavy substitutions, and relentless pressure defense. The result? A 29-2 record and the Rough Riders’ first DCIAA Championship since 2014.
