BOWIE, MD - The inaugural DMVelite Super Circuit came to a close this past weekend with the crowing of champions for the 17U, 16U and 15U Divisions.

Here’s a look at some of the top 15U performers from Session IV:

DE’KEVION MOORE, MARYLAND RUFF RIDERS

Moore, a 2024 guard from Forest Park (Va.), stepped his game up in the playoffs, averaging a session-high 13.5 points per game to lead the Riders to the 15U Championship. He went for a game-high 23 points in the title game, going 7-of-11 from the field and 9-of-12 from the free throw line.

Moore was the Riders’ most consistent scoring threat throughout the Circuit.

“My coach, he helped me develop my game and he wanted me to play point guard more,” Moore said. “... I couldn’t score as much as I scored without [my teammates]. Them finding me open and kicking the ball and me knowing when and when not to score, that’s what my coach taught me.”

SAM NORFLEET IV, MARYLAND RUFF RIDERS

Norfleet (Forest Park 2024) averaged 10.2 points per game, including a game-high 16 in an opening win over Team Dedication. The 5-foot-9 guard has good quickness and vision.

ELIJAH REID, IMPACT BASKETBALL

The 5-foot-9 Reid (Freedom 2024) was instrumental in Impact’s run to the title game, tying for the team-high in scoring at 9.8 points per game, finishing second in rebounding at 4.5 per game and leading his squad in steals at 1.75. He also provided his team’s biggest moment of the weekend, hitting the go-ahead 3-pointer with 19 seconds remaining as Impact knocked off top seed Team Melo MD23 41-40 to reach the championship game.

DARIEN JONES, IMPACT BASKETBALL

Jones (Forest Park 2024) tied Reid for team-high scoring honors at 9.8 per game. He had a team-high 10 in their runner-up performance against Maryland Ruff Riders.

MALACHI COFIELD, TEAM MELO MD23

The explosive Gwynn Park (Md.) 2024 guard was highly active for MD23, averaging 13.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game for the division’s top seed. He went for a game-high 24 points in a 64-60 win over Runnin Mavs on Saturday.

BRYCE ADAMS, TEAM MELO MD23

The 6-foot-4 Adams (Marriotts Ridge 2024) was the 15U Session IV leader in rebounds, grabbing 9.3 per game. He did nice work as his team’s main interior defensive presence, finishing with a team-high 7 blocks in three games.

The River Hill (Md.) 2024 guard showed his all-around game in an opening win over Maryland Movement, putting up 13 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and three steals.
