DMVelite Super Circuit Session II Standouts

Recapping the top 15U, 16U and 17U performers.

Session II of the 2022 DMVelite Super Circuit took place this past weekend, with 15U, 16U and 17U action in several gyms throughout Prince George’s County, MD.

Here’s a look at some of the standouts from the Session II action.

17U DIVISION

DAOUDA TRAORE, DMV DREAM

The Paint Branch (Md.) 2023 wing was basically unguardable in his Session II outings, averaging a Session-leading 30 points per game in two victories.

Traore went for 38 points in a 65-63 win over Nova Cavaliers on Sunday at Wise, and also had  22 in an 80-76 win over Metro All-Stars.

GIBRALTAR COLEMAN, NOVA CAVALIERS

The Flint Hill (Va.) 2023 forward made an immediate impact in his Nova Cavs debut, averaging a team-high 20 points while helping his new squad to a 2-1 mark in three contests. He was especially impressive in that one loss, going for 27 while dueling with Traore in a 65-63 loss to DMV Dream.

JAMES MCINTYRE, TEAM PROLOOK

The Washington-Liberty (Va.) 2023 guard continued his strong Super Circuit play, averaging a team-high 14.3 points per game as ProLook went 3-0 on the weekend.

WILLIE JENNINGS IV, METRO ALL-STARS

Jennings has carried the bulk of Metro’s scoring load through the first two sessions, and finished with 20 points per game in Session II while leading the 17U division in made 3-pointers (14).

The unsigned 2022 guard from Northwestern (Md.) had 27 and hit seven 3-pointers in a tough 80-76 loss to DMV Dream.

OMAR REED, TEAM MELO BLACK, TEAM MELO BLACK

Reed scored a game-high 21 points to lift Melo Black to a 65-63 win over Team MD Stars US on Sunday at Wise. He averaged a team-high 16.3 points per game to guide his squad to a perfect 3-0 mark on the weekend.

BRYSON SPRUELL, TEAM MD STARS US  

The unsigned 2022 guard from Meade (Md.) hit five 3-pointers and scored 21 points in a loss to Team ProLook, finishing with 14 points per game for the weekend.

SAM NORFLEET IV, MARYLAND RUFF RIDERS

Norfleet (Forest Park 2024) built off his strong Session play with another nice performance, averaging a team-high 15 points per game as last year’s 15U champions remained unbeaten at the 16U level with three weekend victories.

DEKEVION MOORE, MARYLAND RUFF RIDERS

Moore (Forest Park 2024) averaged 13.3 points per game to held the Riders improve to 6-0 through the first two Super Circuit sessions.

CAMERON LYONS, TEAM DEDICATION

Lyons started slow in Session I, but came to life in Session II, averaging 18 points per game, with outings of 28 and 18.

GRANT POLK, NOVA CAVALIERS

Polk (Gainesville) averaged 17.7 points per game, highlighted by a game-high 24 in a 66-53 win over Impact Elite Gray Saturday at Wise.

KOREY BLAIR, HC UNITED

Blair made a bang in his Super Circuit debut dropping a circuit-record 47 points in an opening loss to Topp Tier Titans on Saturday at Bowie High School.

A 2025 guard out of Overlea (Md.), Blair hit 10 3-pointers in the outing while managing the vast majority of his team’s 59 total points. He had 14 and 22 in his team’s other two games, finishing with an average of 27 per game.

BRYCE INABINET, TOPP TIER TITANS

The Atholton (Md.) product averaged 13.3 points per game while leading Topp Tier to a perfect 3-0 mark on the weekend.

COLE SCOTT, NOVA 94 FEET PREMIER

Scott opened with a game-high 21 points and hit five 3-pointers in a win over Team Pro Look-Esherick, and never slowed down. He followed up with outings of 27 and 12, averaging 20 points per game for the weekend while connecting on 12 3-pointers.

NOAH ROBINSON, CUTT NATION

Robinson poured in 27.5 points per game in a pair of victories over NOVA Cavaliers and Team Maryland Stars.

RUSSELL JACKSON, GRINDHOUSE HOOPS

Jackson posted 13.5 points per game to help Grindhouse earn a weekend split, posting a game-high 17 in a 58-48 win over Calvert Titans on Sunday at The Campus.

ANTHONY VINES, TEAM IMPACT BLUE

Vines averaged 17.5 points per game to lead Impact Blue to a 2-1 record on the weekend.

JAH JONES, TEAM SILK

Jones went for 17.5 points per game on the weekend, highlighted by a 29-point performance in a 73-62 win over Metro All-Stars on Saturday at Bowie High School.

WILLIAM FROST, TEAM MD STARS

Frost posted 18.3 points per game in three contests, highlighted by 28 ina  62-58 loss to Cutt Nation on Sunday at Central High School.
