The Wicomico Youth & Civic Center is set to host this year's 40th event.

After a two-year hiatus, the Governor’s Challenge - the largest high school holiday basketball tournament in the country - returns next week to Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

This year’s milestone 40th edition runs from December 26-30, 2022 and will feature 110 teams from 2 countries, 11 states and DC.
