WICOMICO YOUTH & CIVIC CENTER

COLONEL RICHARDSON (MD) 69, INDIAN RIVER (DE) 48

Dreden Lake had 24 points and 11 rebounds and Ja’Zir Jackson posted 20 points and 6 steals as Colonel Richardson ran to victory.

Tay’Von Rounds had 22 points and Jeremiah Dennis 12 for Indian River.

DELMAR (DE) 56, CRISFIELD (MD) 54

Dustin Pederson had 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead Delmar to a tight win over the Crabbers. Crisfield was led by 21 points from Juiz Jackson and got 12 and 11 from Chan Rishardson and Kenneth Jones, respectively.

POLYTECH (DE) 48, WASHINGTON (MD) 40

Davian Stevenson had 27 points and 13 rebounds to lead Polytech to an opening victory.

ATHOLTON (MD) 70, SOUTH RIVER (MD) 61

Amir Shaheed had 20 points, Deion Dent 16 and Bryce Inabinet 10 to lead the Raiders.

Liam Barney had 17 to lead the Seahawks, who got 13 from James Criumaudo and 10 from Jaden McDuffie.

MILFORD (DE) 72,  NORTH CAROLINE (MD) 51

Jayden Norman had 17 points, Elijah Farrington 16 and Taj’Mir  Handy 12 as Milford pulled away in the second half to pick up the win.

Nasai Bell had a game-high 23 points for North Caroline, which got 11 points from Tyson Weber.

PHOENIXVILLE (PA) 67, LINGANORE (MD) 41

Deacon Baratta had 20 points and Max Lebisky 16 and 9 boards as the Phantoms pulled away in the second half.

Brandon Donaldson led the Lancers with 13.

SUSSEX TECH (DE) 77, POCOMOKE (MD) 52

Isaiah Ayers had 16 points, Corbin Foram 13 and Derrieus Johnson 11 to lead the Ravens.

Jamir Roberst had 19 points and 6 steals to lead Pocomoke, while Lamarquis Douglas had 16 points and Jy’Mir Schoolfield had 5 points and a game-high 16 rebounds.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST (PA) 58, WALKERSVILLE (MD) 47

Tyler Dandrea (16 points), Jacob Cummiskey (15) and Justin DiRoberto (13) led Central Bucks East to an opening victory.

Kenyon Johnson posted 16 points and 9 boards for Walkersville, while Darius Eubanks had 10 points.

SNOW HILL (MD) 84, LAUREL (DE) 48

Keandre Nixon had 19 points - eclipsing the 1,000-Point mark for his career -  DaZavion Dix 15 and Jaron Cannon 11 as the Eagles cruised to an easy win.

Khalid Burton led the Bulldogs with 15.

CH FLOWERS (MD) 55, WINSTON CHURCHILL (MD) 51

Tyrell Bowles had 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked 7 shots as the Jaguars held off a furious Churchill (Md.) rally to pick up the victory.

Alhssan Barrie had 11 points for the Jaguars.

Jason Noumbissi led the Bulldogs with 13, while Benjamin Ash had 12. Churchill cut a 17-point deficit to two in the fourth quarter but couldn’t fully close the gap.

DOVER (DE) 83, JAMES M BENNETT (MD) 44

Dorrell Little had 25 points and JayVion Denis 18 to lead the way as the Senators cruised.

Istavan Norwood and 12 points and Denim Perkins 10 for Dover, which outscored Bennett 25-8 in the second quarter to blow open what had been a tight game.

Jace Hudson had 13 points to lead the Clippers.

RIVERDALE BAPTIST (MD) 72 , WILLIAM PENN (DE) 67

Jack Furman had 22 points and Nathaniel Wooden 20 as the Crusaders withstood a scorching 37-point outing from William Penn guard Jaylin Horsey to pick up the win.

Horsey finished 10-of-16 from the field and 6-of-11 from 3-point range as he carried the scoring load for the Colonials. Emmanuel Vohn finished with 10 points.

PARKSIDE (MD) 61, THE SALISBURY SCHOOL (MD) 60

Dustin Brown had 20 points and Maurice Brown 14 to lead the Rams to a thrilling victory in the final game on Court 1.

Parkside rallied in the fourth quarter, outscoring Salisbury School 18-9 in the final period.

Tyler Ball, Pierce Vazquez and Noah Tucker each had 16 points for the Dragons.

CALVERT HALL (MD) 66, POTOMAC SCHOOL (VA) 62

Brendan Johnson had 32 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the floor to help the Cardinals hold off the Panthers in Tuesday’s nightcap.

Andre Moore had 13 points and JT Taggart 10 for Calvert Hall.

Elijah Flowrs had 17 points to lead Potomac School, which got 14 from Grey Chamberlain, 13 from Akim Iscandari and 10 from Jack Winslow.

UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND EASTERN-SHORE

NORTH CAROLINE (MD) 55, SEAFORD (DE) 43

The Bulldogs used a balanced scoring effort to counter a monster 25-point, 12-rebound effort from Seaford’s Amira Tingle and pick up an opening victory.

Salaya Garrison had 19 points, Chloe Escoe 17 and Malayah Phillips 10 to lead North Caroline, which also got 12 rebounds from Ashley Kercheval.

Kinyra Cornish-Blaine had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Seaford.

JM BENNETT (MD) 42, LAUREL (DE) 20

Jenna Stauffer had 12 points and Eden Emhoff 11 to lead a balanced effort for the Clippers.

Tyra Kane, Crystal Carneiro and Kaitlyn Roy each had four points for Laurel.

PARKSIDE (MD) 41, DELMARVA CHRISTIAN (DE) 31

Zion Oge had 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Rams to an opening victory.

Riley McCluskey had 15 points for Delmarva Christian.

WICOMICO (MD) 71, SUSSEX TECH (DE) 39

Se'Lah Foreman had 24 points and 7 rebounds and Gabrielle Corbin posted a double-double to lead WiHi to a runaway victory over the Ravens.

DOVER (DE) 56, STEPHEN DECATUR (MD) 20

Ashtyn Torbert had 16 points, Amani Sudler 14 and Sara Zionna Benson 13 and 11 rebounds in a runaway victory for the Senators.

Jozlyn Tyre had 6 points to lead the Seahawks, whiek Sadie Kauffman and Makenzee Purnell wach grabbed 10 rebounds.

WICOMICO HIGH SCHOOL

SAINTS PETERS & PAUL (MD) 73, ARCADIA (VA) 64

Garrett Hemingay posted 24 points and Bryden Smith 18 to lead the Sabres to an opening victory.

RonRico Bugg and Jordan Cropper had 16 points apiece and Zachary Giddins 11 for Arcadia.

INDIAN CREEK (MD) 86, KENT COUNTY (MD) 64

Aiden Evans had 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles, while Kyle Harvin had 17 points, Kiko Oyugi 12 and Jayden Alexander 11.

Jysir Valetine had 15 points, Dawn Harris 14 and Jonah Summervlle 13 for Kent County.

QUEEN ANNE (MD) 78, DELAWARE MILITARY (DE) 76

Vincent Gilberto went a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor - including 2-of02 from 3-points range - to post 18 points as Queen Anne’s held off Delaware Military.

Collin Woolford had 16 points, Amarai Baynard 12 and Jimmy Holthaus 10 or the Lions.

Gabe Swift poured in a game-high 34 points for Delaware Mlitary, going 12-of-18 from the field and 5-of-7 from deep. Antonio Allin had 20 points and Nate Golden 11 for the Seahawks.

MILFORD MILL (MD) 70, VS. WALT WHITMAN (MD) 65

Greg Taylor had 24 points as the Millers held off Whitman to pick up an opening victory.

Isaiah Howard had 12 points, Derrick Jackson 11 and Blair Scott 10 for Milford Mill.

Hayden Walsh had 13 points to lead a balanced scoring effort for the Vikings, who got 12 apiece from Titian DeRose and Evan Brown, along with 11 from Thomas Farrell.

ST. CHARLES (MD) 61, VS. OAKDALE (MD) 53

Xavier Buchanan had 19 points and Tajir Webster 17 as the Spartans advanced to their bracket title game.

Alex Rodriguez had 23 points for the Bears, while Harrison Tisdale had 14.

GWYNN PARK (MD) 72, GILMAN (MD) 60

Ty Bevins had 28 points and Tony Pope 24 to lead the Yellowjackets into Wednesday’s bracket final with a win over the Greyhounds to close out Day 1.

DeMarco Daniel added 14 points for Gwynn Park.

Yasir Supreme had 17 to lead Gilman, which got 12 from Evan Quintero, 11 from Dejuan Lane and 10 from Tyler Marshall.
