WICOMICO YOUTH & CIVIC CENTER

INDIAN CREEK (MD) 76, SAINTS PETER & PAUL (MD) 57

6-3 2024 forward Aiden Evans had 31 points and 9 rebounds to lead the Eagles to a Bracket Championship victory over St. Peter & Paul (Md.) to open Day 2.

Craig Allen had 14 points and Kyle Harvin 12 points, 8 assists and 4 steals for Indian Creek.

Garret Hemmingway had 16 points to lead the Sabres, while Robert Cunningham had 10 points.

ARCADIA (VA) 75, KENT COUNTY (MD) 55

RonRico Bugg had 21 points to lead four players in double figures for the Firebirds.

Jordan Cropper had 18 points for Arcadia, while Lavor Johnson had 11 and 12 rebounds and Brandon Harmon finished with 10 points and 10 boards.

Jysir Valentine had 16 points, 13 rebounds and 7 blocks for the Trojans, while Larry Steward had 16 points and Dwan Harris 10.

MILFORD MILL (MD) 50, QUEEN ANNE'S (MD) 35

Gregory Taylor had 18 points and 5 assists to lead the Millers to a Bracket Championship victory.

Isaiah Howard had 10 points and 18 rebounds for Milford Mill, while Blair Scott added 10 points.

Collin Woolford had 12 points to lead the Lions.

WALT WHITMAN (MD) 69, DE MILITARY (DE) 64

Evan Brown had 22 points, Thomas Farrell 19 and Hayden Walsh 17 as the Vikings closed their Salisbury trip with a victory.

It didn’t come easy, though, as Delaware Military cut a 21-point deficit down to jsut 2 int he final minutes before falling short.

Nate Golden had 18 points for Delaware Military, while Gabe Swift added 17 and Antonio Allin and Jaxon Lennon had 10 apiece.

WOODBRIDGE (DE) 78, EASTON (MD) 73

Isaiah Newton had 24 points, TaSean Williams-Conway 16, Isaiah Giles 14 and Malachi Hayes 10 as the Blue Raiders held off the Warriors.

Woodbridge led by 15 points after one quarter, but Easton rallied, outscoring the Raiders 28-9 in the second quarter to take a 37-33 halftime lead. Woodbridge used a third quarter run to edge back in front and stayed there the rest of the way.

Marshall Bailey had 28 points for Easton, while JaKai Brooks finished with 15 and Kyree Acee dished out 8 assists to just one turnover.

GILMAN (MD) 60, OAKDALE (MD) 46

Yaya Supreme had 17 points to lead the Greyhounds, while Gage Linton had 19 points and 11 rebounds and Alex Rodriguez 17 points for the Bears.

SUSSEX CENTRAL (DE) 54, CAMBRIDGE-SOUTH DORCHESTER (MD) 48

David Maker had 17 points and Kyle Custis and Cam’Ron Purnell 10 apiece as Sussex Central picked up the win in Shore Showcase action.

Jaden Harris had 15 points and 9 rebounds for Cambridge-South Dorchester, while Anthony Hughes had 10.

GWYNN PARK (MD) 54, ST. CHARLES (MD) 50

Tony Pope had 20 points and Tristan Jerry 11 as Gwynn Park held off St. Charles in an All-DMV Bracket Final.

Tajir Webster had 17 points and 15 rebounds for St. Charles, while Xavier Buchanan had 13 and Shamir Taylor posted 11 points and 12 rebounds.

SIDWELL FRIENDS (DC) 46, ST. BENEDICT'S PREP (NJ) 36

Acaden Lewis scored 20 of his game-high 22 points in the second half to lead the Quakers back from 14 points down to get the win.

Jalen Rougier-Roane added 10 points for the Quakers.

Nathan Amoran led the Gray Bees with 12 points.

ST. PETER'S PREP (NJ) 77, ARCHBISHOP CARROLL (DC) 70

Nico Pena had 31 points to lead St. Peter’s Prep, which jumped out to a big early lead and held off a late Carroll rally.

Peyton Miller had 13 points and Austin Spencer 11 for the Marauders.

Landry Barbour and Hassan Dorman had 26 points apiece for Carroll.

STEPHEN DECATUR (MD) 57, SMYRNA (DE) 54 (OT)

Brycen Coleman had 17 points and 9 rebounds and Trybe Wise 14 as the Seahawks edged the Eagles in a thrilling nightcap.

Chase Sullivan led Smyrna with 19 points, while Obnna Coleman had 15.

MONSIGNOR BONNER (PA) 51, GLENELG COUNTRY (MD) 48

Kevin Rucker and Deuce Ketner had 12 points apiece and Reggie Selden added 11 as the Friars held on for a win in their opener.

Patrick Curtin led the Dragons with 17 and Jalen Baker added 12.

UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND-EASTERN SHORE

SOUTH RIVER (MD) 54, S. KENT ISLAND (MD) 32

Skyler Woodyard had 17 points and Ryleigh Adams 15 to lead the Seahawks.

Sydney Riska had 12 points to lead the Buccaneers.

HAYFIELD (VA) 56, WALKERSVILLE (MD) 40

Alexis Cox (14 points), Courtney Breland (14) and Madison Davis (12) led the way as Hawks took the victory.

Aayan Teasely had 15 points and Addison Boram 11 for Walkersville.

OAKLAND CATHOLIC (PA) 46, SANFORD (DE) 39

London Creach had 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting to lead Oakland Catholic to victory in its Governor’s Challenge opener.

Kaylee DeAngelo added 10 points for Oakland Catholic.

Jada Snow had 12 points and 7 rebounds to lead Sanford, while Naomi Allen had 11 points and 7 boards.

PENN CHARTER (PA) 53, ROLAND PARK (MD) 37

Kaylin Bethea had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Quakers to victory.

Naomi Kodobskiy led Roland Park with 10 points.

ST. MARY'S (MD) 74, POTOMAC SCHOOL (VA) 58

Bailey Harris had 22 points and 8 rebounds to lead St. Mary’s to a comfortable victory.

Bailey Walden had 19 for the Saints and Alexandrea Vandiver had 18.

Sabrina Anderson led the Panthers with 16 points, while Catherine LeTendre had 13 and Zora Burrell 10.

LINGANORE (MD) 49, ST. CHARLES (MD) 36

Gracie Wilson had 14 points, Meg Hummell 13 and Trinity Lindblade and Kayleigh Lake 10 apiece to lead the Lancers.

McKenzie Thomas and Nayia Richardson each had 13 points for the Spartans.

CONSTITUTION (PA) 75, ELIZABETH (NJ) 74 (OT)

Kyree Latimer dropped 26 points on 9-of-12 shooting - going 4-for-4 from 3-point range as Constitution picked up an overtime win in its tourney opener

Amir Speights had 22 points and Perry Fields 18 for the Generals.

Landon Carson had 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead a balanced scoring effort from the Minutemen, who got 14 points from Cameron McRae, 12 from Jayden Johnson and 10 from Kareem Jackson.

WICOMICO HIGH SCHOOL

LINGANORE (MD) 65, SOUTH RIVER (MD) 53

Christian Petruzello had a game-high 21 points on 10-of-13 shooting to lead the Lancers to victory in a consolation matchup.

Brandon Donaldson had 12 points for Linfanore and Tommy Walsh added 11.

Liam Barney led South River with 17 points, and James Crimaudo had 15 and 11 rebounds.

ATHOLTON (MD) 55, PHOENIXVILLE (PA) 54

Amir Shaheed had 18 points to lead the Raiders to a bracket title victory.

Max Lebisky had 19 to lead the Phantoms, while Dawson Brown had 17.

WALKERSVILLE (MD) 48, WINSTON CHURCHILL (MD) 41

Kenyon Johnson had 21 points and 14 rebounds as Walkersville picked up a consolation bracket victory.

Darrius Eubank added 14 for Walkersville.

Jason Noumbissi led the Bulldogs with 15 points and 6 steals.

CH FLOWERS (MD) 68, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST (PA) 47

Tyrell Bowles had 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks to lead the Flowers to a Bracket Championship.

Lawson Hopkins had 14 points for the Jaguars, while Jacob Taylor had 11.

Jacob Cummisky led Central Bucks East with 14 poing and 6 rebounds, while Taylor Dandrea added 10 points.

WILLIAM PENN (DE) 82,  POTOMAC SCHOOL (VA) 62

Colonials guard Jaylin Horsey poured in 33 points and went 6-of-8 from 3-point land to lead his team to victory.

Emmanuel Vonhm had 26 points for William Penn, shooting 10-of-15 from the field.

Grey Chamberlain led the Panthers with 18 points and 7 rebounds, while Elijah Flowers had 14 points.

RIVERDALE BAPTIST (MD) 75,  CALVERT HALL (MD) 40

Giovanni Sanford had 13 points, Jack Furman 12 and Zion Foy 10 as the Crusaders cruised to a bracket championship.

Brendan Johnson had 21 points in the loss for the Cardinals.

HODAN PREP (CAN) 77, VIRGINIA ACADEMY (VA) 51

David Popa had 21 points and Vlad Popa 12 to lead the Nighthawks over the Patriots to close out Day 2.

RJ Jones had 19 to lead Virginia Academy.
