WICOMICO YOUTH & CIVIC CENTER

STEPHEN DECATUR (DE) 53, LAUREL (DE) 12

Jozlyn Tyre had 16 points, Allison Swift 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Mliyah Manuel 12 points and 5 steals as the Seahawks cruised to a morning victory.

Blake Davis and Dayonna Roundtree each had 4 points to pace the Bulldogs.

SEAFORD (DE) 48, JAMES M BENNETT (MD) 34

Kinyra Cornish-Baine had 21 points and Amira Tingle 15 as the Blue Jays pulled away in the second half to down the Clippers.

JM Bennett led 21-17 at halftime, but were outscored 13-2 in the third quarter as Seaford took control.

Saniyah Leonard led the Clippers with 12 points.

DOVER (DE) 50, WICOMICO (MD) 35

Sara Benson had 14 points and 13 rebounds and Ashtyn Torbert had 12 points, 8 assists and four steals to lead the Senators.

Gabrielle Corbin had 13 points to lead Wicomico, while Se’Lah Foreman finished with 10.

PARKSIDE (MD) 54, SUSSEX TECH (DE) 32|

Diamond Dixon had 20 points, 4 assists and 6 steals to lead the Rams.

Zion Oge added 16 points and 9 rebounds and Talayah Clark grabbed 11 boards.

Malayah Bell led the Ravens with 9 points and 7 rebounds, while Tayana Bibbins and A’Riyah Knocks each had 8 points.

SMYRNA (DE) 54, EASTON (MD) 49

Obinna Coleman had 17 points and 6 rebounds to lead the Eagles past the Warriors. Maurice Kilgoe added 14 points.

Marshall Bailey led Easton with 17 points, while Ja’Kai Brooks had 11.

ROCK CREEK CHRISTIAN WHITE (MD) 86, HODAN PREP (CN) 82 (OT)

Jerome Williams, Jr. had 22 points to lead the Eagles to an overtime victory.

Sean Van Dorn had 19 points and Machi Chester 14 for Rock Creek White

Dante Censori-Hercules had 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds for Hodan Prep. David Popa finished with 17 points and Jaden Lee had 11, including three clutch free throws to force the extra period.

FREDERICK (MD) 65, CITY (MD) 51

David Dorsey had 19 points while Elwyne Wordlaw and Ivan Quijada had 14 apiece to lead the Cadets to victory in one of the event’s most-anticipated matchups.

Camontae Griffin had a game-high 21 points for tee Black Knights, while Omarr Smith finished with 14.

JOHN CARROLL (MD) 58, ST. ANTHONY'S (NY) 48

Aidan Able had 18 points as the Patriots pulled away late to beat.

Theartis Battle added 14 points and 8 rebounds for John Carroll.

Chris Welling and Kevin Moore had 12 apiece for St. Anthony’s.

LARGO (MD) 49, HAYFIELD (VA) 45

Cam Ward had 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks as the Lions held off a late Hayfield push.

Phenix Card had 15 to lead the Hawks, while Aaron McFarlane added 13.

GEORGETOWN PREP (MD) 62, SPRINGSIDE CHESTNUT HILL ACADEMY (PA) 54

RJ Stewart had 17 points and Patrick McDonough 16 for the Little Hoyas.

A trio of Springside Chestnut Hill players - Ronald Brown, Kameron Waters and Keni Williams - finished with 11 points, while Owen Kelly finished with 10.

SUSSEX TECH (DE) 68, WICOMICO (MD) 40

Kyle Thompson had 14 points, Isaiah Ayers 13 and Zion Roach and Corbin Foran 10 apiece as the Ravens cruised.

Takai Hugee had 9 points to lead Wicomico.

SOUTH LAKES (VA) 74, WEST CATHOLIC (PA) 50

David Rochester had 19 points and went 4-of-5 from 3-point range as the Seahawks pulled away late.

Tyler Andre had 15 points for South Lakes, while Merrick Rillstone had 13.

Saiid Lee led the Burrs with 14 points.

HAMILTON HEIGHTS (TN) 71, ST. BENEDICT'S PREP (NJ) 63

Kevin de Kovachich had 21 points to lead four players in double-figures for Hamilton Heights.

Vito Pekovic had 15 points, Bryson Andrews 12 and Kamai Samuels 11 for the Hawks.

David Johnson had 16 points, Casper Pohto 15 and Tristan Davis 10 for the Gray Bees.

SEAFORD (DE) 76, POCOMOKE (MD) 47

Jordan Smith had 27 points and Kashmier Wise 18 as Seaford pulled away early to down Pocomoke in a Shore Showcase matchup.

Jamir Roberts had 19 points to lead Pocomoke, while Zymiere Walker had 10.

UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND-EASTERN SHORE

WALKERSVILLE (MD) 41, KENT ISLAND (MD) 36

Addison Boram had 17 points and Aayana Teasley 11 to lead the Lions.

Sydney Riska had 14 points and 7 rebounds to lead Kent Island, while Lilli Dauses had 6 points and 8 boards.

HAYFIELD (VA) 42, SOUTH RIVER (MD) 29

Alexis Cox had 10 points to lead a balanced scoring effort for the Hawks, who never trailed.

Ryleigh Adams had 11 points to lead the Seahawks.

SANFORD (DE) 31, ROLAND PARK (MD) 30

Jada Snow had 8 points and 8 rebounds as Sanford held off a late Roland Park push.

Naomi Koldobskiy had 8 to lead Roland Park.

OAKLAND CATHOLIC (PA) 60, PENN CHARTER (PA) 44

London Creach had 23 points to lead Oakland Catholic to a bracket title in their inaugural Governor’s Challenge appearance.

Kaylee DeAngelo had 13 points and Mid LeDonner 12 for Oakland Catholic.

Kaylinn Bethea had 15 points to lead the Quakers.

POTOMAC SCHOOL (VA) 69, ST. CHARLES (MD) 21

Sabrina Anderson had 20 points and Catherine LeTendre 13 as the Panthers used a 21-2 second quarter run to blow the game open.

McKenzie Thomas had 8 points to lead St. Charles.

ST. MARY'S (MD) 64, LINGANORE (MD) 43

Baily Walden went for 24 points and Bailey Harris 19 to lead the Saints to a Bracket Championship victory.

Trinity Lindblade led the Lancers with 17 points while Meg Hummel had 11.

MILFORD (DE) 79, WASHINGTON (MD) 41

Jayden Norman had 19 points, Bryan Graham 14 and Neysen  Legros 11 to lead the Buccaneers to victory.

Eljah Thomas led the Jaguars with 12 points, while Jaylen Wigfall added 10.

WICOMICO HIGH SCHOOL

ST. GEORGE'S (DE) 82, H.D. WOODSON (DC) 25


Blair Thomas had 23 points, Emory Womack 18 points and Kionne Lang 14 points and 15 rebounds as St. George’s cruised to a win in its opener.

Dallas Allen had 8 points to lead HD Woodson.

ST. JOHN'S CATHOLIC PREP (MD) 64, THE SALISBURY SCHOOL (MD) 60

Ayden Hurley and Aaron Schoffner each had 18 points to lead the Vikings to a tight victory.

Xavier Grainger added 11 points for SJCP, and Tristian Thompson had 10.

Tyler Ball dropped 32 points and had 7 steals for the Dragons, who also got 21 points from Pierce Vasquez.

ARCHBISHOP CARROLL (DC) 64, GLENELG COUNTRY (MD) 61

Hassan Dorman had 30 points and 10 rebounds  to lift the Lions over the Dragons.

Nate Pondexter had 11 points for the Lions.

Patrick Curtin had 21 points to lead the Dragons, while Akol Nyok had 14 points, 14 rebounds and 7 blocks and Ronald Alford had 11 points.

ST. PETER'S PREP (NJ) 70, MONSIGNOR BONNER (PA) 67

Austin Spencer had 19 points, Nico Pena 14, Peyton Miller 12 and Mason Santiago 10 as the Marauders edged Bonner to claim a Bracket Championship.

Deuce Ketner had 26 points in the loss for the Friars, who also got 17 points from Kevin Rucker and 13 from Kyree Womack.

CONSTITUTION (PA) 48, NEW TOWN (MD) 45

Perry Fields had 24 points and Amir Speights 11 to edge the Titans. and advance to the bracket final against Largo.

Jaleel Hawkins had 11 points to lead New Town.

FAIRFAX CHRISTIAN (VA) 65, BROOKLYN COLLEGIATE (NY) 49

Nijel Howard had 20 points and Isaiah Skinn 15 and 5 steals as the Cardinals picked up a win in their opener.

Tyler Edore had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Brooklyn Collegiate, while Toribola Babs-Ogundeji had 10 points.

SALISBURY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

HARFORD CHRISTIAN (MD) 42, SALISBURY CHRISTIAN (MD) 25

FAITH BAPTIST SCHOOL (MD) 64, THE TOME SCHOOL (MD) 51

Elijah Miller had 25 points to lead Faith Baptist to a bracket championship.
