Day 4 Standouts

WICOMICO YOUTH & CIVIC CENTER

ST. GEORGE'S (DE)  62, ST. JOHN'S CATHOLIC PREP (MD) 51

Blair Thomas had 30 points to lead the Seahawks to a Bracket Championship victory.

Kionne Lang had 10 points for St. George’s, which outscored St. John’s Catholic Prep 21-11 in the decisive fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Aaron Shoffner had 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the Vikings.

THE SALISBURY SCHOOL (MD) 79, HD WOODSON (DC) 45

Pierce Vasquez exploded for 34 points and 16 rebounds and Tyler Ball went for 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 steals as the Dragons ran past the Warriors.

Salisbury School jumped out to a 28-5 lead after one quarter.

Antonio King had 17 points to lead HD Woodson.

POLYTECH (DE) 59, NORTH CAROLINE (MD) 42

Jalen Anderson had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Davian Stevenson had 10 points, 7 boards and 4 steals in the victory.

Nasai Bell had 11 points and 11 rebounds to lead North Caroline.

HODAN PREP (CN) 49, BROOKLYN COLLEGIATE (NY) 42

Jaden Lee had 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting  and hit three 3-pointers as the Nighthawks closed out their trip south with a victory.

Tyler Edore had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Lions.

LARGO (MD) 68, CONSTITUTION (PA) 41

Cam Ward had 25 points and 12 rebounds as the Lions claimed a Bracket Championship over the Generals.

Emmanuel King had 13 points and La’Tre Yawn 10 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for Largo.

Kyree Latimer and Perry Fields each had 9 points for Constitution.

HAYFIELD (VA) 71, NEW TOWN (MD) 41

Owen Pottenburgh had 19 points and Parker Cage and Jaylen Lemon added 12 each as the Hawks cruised in a matchup of defending state champions.

Amir Allen led the Titans with 9 points.

ROCK CREEK CHRISTIAN WHITE (MD) 72, FAIRFAX CHRISTIAN (VA) 69 (2OT)

Kameryn Wylie had 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks as Rock Creek edged Fairfax Christian to win in double overtime.

Jerome Williams, Jr. had 17 for the Eagles and Machi Chester 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Elijah Adegbenro had 17 points for the Cardinals, while Isaiah Skinn had 14 and Nijel Howard 12.

ROMAN CATHOLIC (PA) 50, BISHOP MCNAMARA (MD) 47

Roman Catholic went on an 8-0 run in the final minute to erase a five-point McNamara lead and pull out a thrilling victory.

Shareef Jackson had 17 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Cahillites, while Hunter Johnson had 10. Johnson was fouled while scoring the go-ahead bucket with 2.9 seconds to go, and made the free throw to put his team up three. 

McNamara's Qayden Samuels had a difficult look from halfcourt, and had his shot rim out as time expired.

Prince Moody had 18 points and Samuels 17 for the Mustangs.

AZ COMPASS (AZ) 57, DEMATHA CATHOLIC (MD) 49

Vyctorius Miller had 14 points and Cameron Miles 12 to lead the Dragons over the Stags.

Ashton Meeks had 11 points for the Stags, while Kade Sebastian had 9.

SNOW HILL (MD) 75, SUSSEX CENTRAL (DE) 61

Tyler Reddick had 22 points, Keandre Nixon 18 and Jayden Hudson 14 - including the 1,000th of his career - to lead Snow Hill.

Cam’Ron Purnell had 16 points and Damian Robinson 10 for Sussex Central.

SALESIANUM (DE) 78, JAMES M BENNETT (MD) 67

Kareem Thomas had 22 points, Isaiah Hynson 21 and Justin Hinds 19 to lead Salesianum to victory.

Jace Hudson had 29 for the Clippers, while Zakai Smullen had 15 and Collins 14.

HAMILTON HEIGHTS (TN) 58, MT. CARMEL (MD) 47

Bryson Andrews had 18 points and Kamai Samuels 17 as Hamilton Heights held off a late Mount Carmel run to close out the action on Day 4.

Ralph Rudusans had 11 to lead Mount Carmel, while Drew Dixon had 10.

UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND-EASTERN SHORE

DELMAR (DE) 54, COLONEL RICHARDSON (MD) 49

Anthony Jackson had 17 points, Dustin Pedersen tallied 14 points and 13 rebounds and Prince Brown added 10 points to lead the Wildcats.

Ja’Zir Dickerson had a game-high 21 points and 5 steals for Colonel Richardson, while Dreden Lake added 13 points.

LOYOLA BLAKEFIELD (MD) 59, LA SALLE (RI) 46

J’Lin Brown had 22 points and Mason Ellison 15 for the Dons.

Liam Simpson had 14 points, Timoy Stitchell 12 and Rex Zadronzny 10 points and 15 rebounds.

ELIZABETH (NJ) 56, SANFORD (DE) 50

Jordan Torres had 16 to lead the Minutemen, while Cameron McRae had 13 and London Carson 10.

Jayden Taylor had 12 for Sanford, Jordan Spencer 11

CLINTON GRACE (MD) 68, CHAMINADE (NY) 59

Tremayne Hawkins had 16 points, Kris Johnson 13 and Ky Panda-Massey 12 to lead the Eagles to an opening win.

Joseph Knaus had a game-high 21 for Chaminade, while Devin Dillon had 18 and Ricky Gunther 10.

ARCHBISHOP SPALDING (MD) 85, NORTH CATHOLIC (PA) 75

Holden Williamson had 24 points, Malik Washington 20 and Kam Carter 10 for the Cavaliers.

CRISFIELD (MD) 63, INDIAN RIVER (DE) 31

Chan Richardson had 21 points, Kenneth Jones III 17 and Juiz Jackson 16 as the Crabbers ran past the Indians.

Rashad Hopkins had 11 points and 12 rebonds to lead Indian River. 

WICOMICO HIGH SCHOOL

SPRINGSIDE CHESTNUT HILL ACADEMY (PA) 66, ST. ANTHONY'S (NY) 63

Keni Williams led the way with 18 points as the Blue Devils closed their Salisbury visit with a victory.

Ronald Brown, Kameron Waters and Ryan Kull all had 11 for Springside Chestnut Hill.

James Taylor, Jr. led St. Anthony’s with 18 points, while Connor Mannix had 13, Nicholas Vieux 11 and Kevin Moore 10.

CITY (MD) 68, WEST CATHOLIC (PA) 44

Omarr Smith had 24 points, Camontae Griffin 16 points and Gage Howard 15 points and 12 rebounds as the Black Knights took home a consolation bracket victory.

Micah Waters had 20 points for West Catholic, while Saaid Lee finished with 10.

GEORGETOWN PREP (DC) 68, JOHN CARROLL (MD) 43

Akbar Waheed III had 25 points and Carter Berg-McLean 11 to lead the Little Hoyas to a Bracket Championship victory.

Aiden Able had 21 points to lead the Patriots.

FREDERICK (MD) 69, SOUTH LAKES (VA) 49

Elwyne Wordlaw had 15 points, Max McFarland 13, JJ Addison 12 and Emonte Hill, Jr. 11 as the Cadets downed the Seahawks to win a Bracket Championship.

Sol Vita had 14 to lead the Seahawks.

NEW CHURCH (PA) 91, MT. ZION PREP (MD) 40

Six New Church players scored in double figures as they cruised to a win over Mt. Zion.

Leading New Church were Tobe Nwobu (18 points), Ryan Warren (15), Nolan Waldon (14), Bahsil Laster (1), Dior Carter (13) and Cameron Smith (13).

Dhruv Iyer had 13 points for the Warriors, while Karon Allen had 11.

ST. STEPHEN'S & ST. AGNES (VA) 64, HOLY CROSS (NY) 55

Blake Neal had 20 points to lead the Saints, who got 12 from Andrew Ross and 11 points and 11 rebounds from Riley Jacobs.

Jacob Moreno had 23 points for the Knights, while Avery Taitt-Christina added 11 points.
