Today DMVelite Showcase Events sealed an agreement with the Premier Youth Basketball League to act as its official league media, scouting and promotions partner.  

"I’m very excited to be chosen by such an up and coming organization focused very seriously on the growth of student athletes on and off the court," said DMVelite CEO, Chris Lawson.

Since 2014 the PYBL has been heavily regarded as the DMV’s most Elite and Premier Youth Basketball League. With as many as 500 athletes both Boys and Girls the PYBL holds tryouts for kids all throughout the region careful not to overlook any talent and provide access to as many Elite student athletes as possible.

The PYBL host two seasons per year, summer and winter with games all throughout the DMV region.  Teams consist of student athletes at the middle school level, 6th – 8th grades.

"We’re equally as excited to partner with DMVelite and looking forward to being the source by which DMVelite will create an official middle school scouting report as well as host for Future 100 camps and training," said James A. Parker Jr, President, PYBL.

From a strategic perspective an arrangement of this sort could change how youth basketball is organized and demonstrated on many levels. Look for the PYBL and DMVelite to bring more programs and services in the years to come that will develop, educate, motivate and inspire our youth to want to succeed beyond just the court but using the court for what it’s worth.
