The Anne Arundel Wildcats and Frederick Gators got their second victories on Tuesday at Landon.

The Anne Arundel Wildcats got their second victory of the summer campaign, bouncing back from a bitter defeat on Sunday. The Wildcats beat the Montgomery Yellow Jackets, 68-63, behind 27 points and 23 rebounds from big man Amani Hansberry.

Hansberry had a magnificent performance after having a down game on Sunday against the Baltimore Suns. He made everything he touched in the paint on Tuesday night, going 13-for-21 from the field.

Hansberry wasn't the only big man to make an impact. Big man Marcelle Gardner also finished with a double-double (10 points and 14 rebounds).

Alongside Hansberry, Jaden Johnson nearly kept his 20+ point streak going, finished with 19 points on 6-of-17 shooting. He also had five rebounds and three assists.

The Yellow Jackets were led by Farrell Crowell and his 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Quint Booker was 4-of-10 from 3-point range with 18 points.

The Frederick Gators kept their winning streak alive as well against the Prince William Mustangs. Despite leading 26-25 at the half, Prince William was unable to hold onto the lead in the second half.

The Gators outscored them 16-2 to take a 41-28 into the fourth quarter. The Mustangs would come storming back thanks to the scoring of Nasir Coleman and Aiden Gallagher, but in the end, Frederick prevailed 58-56.

Terrell Webster led the way for the Gators with 21 points, 10 assists and five steals. Mathani Paul-Swinson finished with 15 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Coleman put up 16 points and seven rebounds for Prince William. Gallagher had 14 points, nine rebounds and four blocks as well. Despite being 0-2, the Mustangs haven't backed down from their opponent no matter who it is. They'll be a team to keep an eye on as the season moves along.

The Gators came out a bit flat in the beginning, but their teamwork and relentless defense helped them get the edge in the end. They forced 21 turnovers on 11 steals in the game.
