- June 20, 2015 - Cesar Chavez School - Washington D.C.

Week 4 of PYBL play kicked off as the Southern Maryland Cardinals and Alexandria Knights faced each other in the early game. Then, the Washington D.C. Bulldogs and Montgomery Yellow Jackets played in the second contest of the evening.

The Cardinals faced a tough test in the Knights in the first game of the evening. They prevailed in the end 66-57, but it wasn't without a fight.

Southern Maryland trailed after one quarter with the Knights holding a slim 14-10 lead. At halftime, the Cardinals led Alexandria 24-20. It was a 28-point third quarter that allowed Southern Mayland to create some distance in the end. The Cardinals held Alexandria's Macon Dean to just three points on 1-of-10 shooting.

Asa Gregg led Southern Maryland on offense, putting up 20 points and 14 rebounds in the game. Malik Mack put up 13 points, eight rebounds and four assists, while Isaiah Arnold put up 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Delamortay Jones finished with 26 points, seven rebounds and three steals for Alexandria. Ramon Jones Jr. put up 14 points and eight rebounds.

The Cardinals remain undefeated at 4-0 while Alexandria is now 2-2.

The Washington D.C. Bulldogs got back to their winning ways in Week 4 with a 62-52 victory over the Montgomery Yellow Jackets.

Jeremiah Quigley nearly finished with a triple-double in his return after sitting out last week's loss to Southern Maryland. He poured in 16 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.

Dajuan Riggs finished with 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from 3-point range as well as the Bulldogs got their third victory of PYBL play.

They never trailed in the game after leading 18-11 after the first frame. The Yellow Jackets did manage to tie things up early in the third quarter, but couldn't overcome Washington's scoring attack.

Montgomery was lead by Reico Hellams and Quint Booker who both finished with 14 points apiece. Farell Crowell finished with 12 points, seven assists and seven rebounds, nearly completing a triple-double of his own.

Washington D.C. now has a 3-1 record while Montgomery's record is 1-3 on the summer season.
